What Sets Us Apart
Strategy First
Every project starts with understanding your goals, audience, and challenges, and we make decisions upon that.
Comprehensive & Connected
From branding and design to marketing and digital, our work spans disciplines to provide clarity and continuity.
More than Deliverables
Clients come to us for guidance as much as execution. We help shape direction, not just produce files.
Thoughtful & Human
Strong relationships, honest communication, and thoughtful work guide everything we do. Clear, collaborative, and realistic from start to finish.
The Foundation of YellowBug
The Foundation of YellowBug
YellowBug was founded in May 2023 by Jared and Kate Bednar, partners in both work and life. Together, they bring complementary strengths across strategy, design, marketing, ethics, business operations, and real-world implementation.
That mix shapes how YellowBug works. The company is built around thoughtful creative, practical decision-making, and work that holds up beyond the initial idea. YellowBug helps clients think through what needs to exist, how it should function, and how it should be carried forward in the real world.
Their shared values around family, integrity, intentionality, and long-term thinking continue to guide how YellowBug works with clients and with each other.

Our Process at a Glance
Our Process at a Glance
1. Connect & Align
Every project starts with a conversation. We listen to your goals, audience, and constraints, share our perspective, and shape a plan together, so everyone understands the direction and scope before the work begins.
2. Create & Collaborate
Once the plan is set, we design, build, write, or develop the work in focused stages. Structured rounds of feedback keep the project moving while leaving real room for collaboration and thoughtful changes.
3. Deliver & Support
We finalize the work and help with what comes next, a clean handoff, launch support, or ongoing help as your needs evolve.
